Diaspora University Town is a project founded in 2006 by Professors of WPI University, Prof, (Rtd) Arthur Gerstenfeld and the late Prof. Raphael. Their idea was to start a University in Africa based on WPI Plan.
In 2006-2009 At WPI U.S-Africa Business conferences; The University and Housing Development Plan merged to become the University Town Development plan through an integration Sustainable System that was inspired by the WPI university founding in 1865. Prof, (Rtd) Arthur Gerstenfeld.
In 2010-2011, a Master Development Plan (MDP) created from Integration Sustainable System and Kenya Constitution 2010. The focus was on.
- Town House Developer.
- Land.
- Design-build plan.
- Finance plan.
- Energy plan.
- County Plan Approval and incentives.
- National Government incentives.
In 2016 to 2019, Ndara B community joins the project as a co-founder of the University and Town through land grant. Ndara B community is a community base in Taita Taveta County, they give out their land to help implement this Project and create job opportunity to their people and worldwide.
In 2019 up to date, the project has successful kick started, and develop a Vaccine Plan.
