Diaspora Kenyans are a result of jobs created abroad. Diaspora University Town (DUT) is a job-creation project. The project is on track to achieve 20,000 new jobs. 2,000 jobs are reserved for Diaspora Kenyans who wish to return to Kenya. Just as jobs created abroad feed, clothe, house, and meet the needs of those who go abroad, the jobs at DUT will do the same. A Diaspora Kenyan considering relocating to Kenya can apply for a DUT job by joining DUT.
Diaspora University Jobs
The Diaspora University plan is progressing to create 1,000 faculty and staff jobs as the university grows to 5,000 students. 400 of these positions are reserved for Diaspora Kenyans who wish to help establish the Diaspora University. The jobs will be in the academic departments, the sports department, the sports teams, and the student affairs department.
Diaspora University Medical Hospital Jobs
The Diaspora University Medical Hospital plan will create 1,500 jobs for doctors, nurses, and other staff across hospital departments established in accordance with the level 5/6 requirement. Diaspora Kenyans have an opportunity to take up 500 jobs.
Diaspora University Town Jobs
The Diaspora University Town development plan will create 500 jobs across town administration, environment, security, water, and other departments. Diaspora Kenyans have an opportunity to take up 100 jobs.
Design-Build Jobs
The Diaspora University design-build plan will create about 3,000 jobs for engineers, architects, masons, plumbers, and other professionals. Diaspora Kenyans have the opportunity to apply for more than 100 jobs.
Daktari Biotechnology Medicine and Vaccine Company Jobs
Daktari Biotechnology Ltd, a pharmaceutical company specializing in the production of medicines and vaccines, will create about 500 jobs for scientists, pharmacists, and other workers. Diaspora Kenyans have an opportunity to take up 100 jobs.
DUT Credit Ltd Jobs
DUT Credit Ltd, a financial company established at DUT, will create approximately 100 jobs in financial services. Diaspora Kenyans will have an opportunity to take up 50 jobs.
Diaspora University Recreation Park Jobs
Diaspora University Recreation Park will create about 200 jobs in the diverse recreation products. Diaspora Kenyans will have an opportunity to take up 50 jobs.
Technical High School
The technical high school will create about 300 jobs in the teaching and technical departments. Diaspora Kenyans will have the opportunity to take up 100 jobs.
300 MSMEs and Organisations Jobs
About 300 MSMEs will be established, creating about 10,000 jobs at DUT. Diaspora Kenyans have already started working on MSMEs plans. Frank Mutura is working on the DUT Hotel Plan, which is estimated to create over 200 jobs. Sam Kabuki on the medical and clean water plan estimated to create 50 jobs. Anne Kiarie and a team of women in the U.S. are opening a clothing MSME that is expected to create 300 jobs. Diaspora Kenyans have an opportunity to start MSMEs and Organizations.
